Snow Search (Newbies Jam Winter 2022)

Intro

• A quick game I made for my first ever game jam! (https://itch.io/jam/newbies-winter). Made in my spare time and I am still pretty new to game dev, so it is pretty janky. Hope you enjoy!

Goal

• Find three presents while chopping down trees (and zombies) to keep your fire, your cabin and yourself alive!

Controls

• WASD - Movement
• Shift (Hold) - Run
• Space - Swing sword
• V - Add collected wood to nearby object
  • Use wood to increase cabin health when nearby it
  • Use wood to increase vision radius of fire
• Refresh page to restart the game

Things I would (and maybe will in the future) update

• Adding actual menus/better win game over screen
• Fix occasionally janky hitboxes/animations
• Fix layer issues
• Add physics to various rigidbodies
• Add sound effects/music
